I had the best experience with this company. The accommodation at Fig Tree Lodge was my favorite. Because for the first time in Tanzania, I was treated not less than, but better than the Europeans. Special recognition to Willie at the lodge, who always addressed me with respect and looked at me only when he spoke to the entire group. My guide on the second day, Justin also was very polite and treated me well. He always made sure that I was satisfied with taking photos before he moved onto the next location. Fun and adventurous !
The safari was very nice. We saw a lot of animals and beautiful scenery. Time of transit between spots were long at time, there was also a lot of aspects that were not organized or not communicated clearly during the safari which lead to waiting and uncertainty. The food was delicious and our Guide was very knowledgeable . Our highlight was Noel, whom we met before and after. He waa very good host, generous with his time, provided clear information, went beyond to help us and make sure we were ok and well taken care of.

Amazing Tanzania Safari.
I just came back from an incredible 3-day safari in Tanzania with a group, exploring the breathtaking Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the very beginning, our guide made the trip feel so special. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and well-informed about the animals, nature, and local culture, but also incredibly patient and kind. He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, even a leopard! He answered every single question with a smile, no matter how many times we asked, and you could really feel that he loved what he was doing. His passion was contagious, and his calm, helpful energy made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
Chef Mariam was such a beautiful soul so warm, nurturing, and always making sure we were well-fed and comfortable. Her food was delicious and prepared with so much care, and she treated us like family the entire time. She truly added a comforting, homey touch to the whole experience.
The camps were great, with cozy setups and everything we needed. But the Ngorongoro camp stood out the most for me it was absolutely magical. Waking up there, surrounded by mist and the sounds of nature, was something I’ll never forget. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the views were just stunning.
This trip exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and connection with nature and with people. I’m so grateful for the team that made it happen, and I’d absolutely recommend this experience to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. You’ll leave with amazing memories and a full heart.

A Truly Memorable Safari with Budget Safaris Tanzania
We found Budget Safaris Tanzania while browsing online and decided to go with them for a group safari trip. From the start, Noel was incredibly responsive, which really helped ease our minds – especially since we were planning this for a group of 10 (work colleagues along with their families).
I will admit, I was initially a bit unsure about trusting a company I had not heard of before, but the way they handled everything was truly impressive. From airport pickups to honoring our lodging preferences, everything ran smoothly and was well-coordinated.
Our itinerary began with a restful arrival in Arusha, where we stayed at Karibu Heritage House. The following days were full of amazing experiences: a cultural walk in Mto wa Mbu, a visit to a Maasai village, a full-day game drive through the Ngorongoro Crater, and a fun, family-friendly stop at the Arusha Giraffe Centre before departure.
We also had a private chef during the trip, which was a thoughtful touch – especially appreciated with kids in the group. Both Noel and Philomen were fantastic: professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive to every detail.
If you are considering a safari in Tanzania and want a trip that is both well-organized and personal, I would highly recommend Budget Safaris. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

An unforgettable experience that was perfectly curated.
Our coordinator Noel was absolutely fantastic and made sure we have a great time at the safari. From airport pickup to drop off we felt very looked after and stress free.
The food was delicious, sleeping conditions were better than expected and you even got the luxury to get a barista made coffee in the middle of the national parks…
Would strongly recommend opting for this route as well, as we got to see such a wide range of animals in different settings.
The route started in Tarangire national park and apart from a wide range of animals you also saw the Baobab trees, we continued into Serengeti which is just an unbelievable experience, anywhere you look along the horizon there were animals. Our final day was in Ngorogoro crater, we started early and got to see the animals in their element, this was by far the most beautiful experience.
Our guide Godson was brilliant and knew exactly the spots to look out for rarer spotted animals, such as cheetahs and rhinos. No request or question was too much and he provided great knowledge on the animals.
Overall a 100/10 experience and would love to do it all over again.

Most insane experience
We did the 4-day camping safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and I could not recommend it more. From the beginning, we were kept in the loop with everything, it was organised smoothly and efficiently by Noel, who was responsive, friendly, and made the whole booking process stress free.
The safari itself felt like a dream. Every day brought something new: watching elephants roam in Tarangire, experiencing the endless plains and dramatic sunsets of the Serengeti, and finally descending into the surreal Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw lions just metres away from our vehicle. Our guide Godson was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife, which made every sighting feel even more special. The Safari truck was also extremely comfortable and had everything you could need (chargers and fridge for cold drinks).
Camping under the stars added a whole other level to the experience. The food exceeded expectations: hearty, varied meals prepared fresh each day.
